Updates and Current Projects

Hey everyone. For those who didn’t read the last update, Ryan and I no longer intend to write articles on fictional characters. (Although, it’s theoretically possible that if we run into a really good one, we might, but as of now, that’s not our intention.) Writing fictional characters can certainly be fun, but so many characters just aren’t good examples of their personality types. I got very tired of having to weed through character tropes and inconsistencies to figure out how best to label a character. In addition, so many people write off any useful content that may be found in a character article on the premise that they disagree with our conclusion. It starts to feel pointless, and over time, gets tiresome. Ryan and I used to enjoy debating in the comments, over email, etc. but these days, we just don’t have the time or energy for it. Our aim is to focus more on theory content, and perhaps analyses of historical figures, if that’s something that piques people’s interest. The Paid Requests page has been updated accordingly.

With that all being said, the schedule might be less consistent from now on. We’ll be publishing articles as we write them, with the goal of focusing on quality over quantity. We apologize if this ends up meaning less articles, but we’re trying to keep our priorities in order and not fall behind in other aspects of our lives.

Ryan and I are still refining our personality test, and we’re still looking for more extraverts. Of course, we welcome feedback from other personality types as well. So, if you’re interested, in discussing personality theory with us, just reach out via email! I also use Discord, if that’s easier.
