Si:

“Like I said, we’re gonna leave when it’s time. Have some patience. The one piece isn’t going anywhere. For now, we just bide our time.”

“I’ll tell you all the details of my plan after that.”

“You think you can just change a plan as you like. I shouldn’t have trusted you! Let’s get him!”

“Don’t be ridiculous! You can’t just show up without a plan… “

Trafalgar Law’s Si comes out in the way that he deals with other people. Whenever strategizing a plan or giving any kind of orders, he always makes sure to give precise and detailed instructions to those involved. He even attempts this with Luffy. Unfortunately for him, he does this to no avail, and he always seems shocked when Luffy goes off and does whatever he wants. When Law is a child and is being pestered about his true name, he launches off into a very detailed explanation about it that the other two children find to be a bore. Law is very ‘by the plan’ and does not like to improvise. He is always thrown when Luffy drags him into some unrelated task.

Law has his entire plan from start to finish laid out before he even approaches the Straw Hats. He literally talks to them about following a step by step plan to take down one of the emperors. He is much more involved in his plans than a typical Ni dom would be, always placing himself in a major role rather commanding things from the shadows.

Law is constantly emphasizing being careful, getting angry when Luffy ignores him. He also has a wealth of facts and information stored away. While they were sailing, Law proves to be knowledgeable about locations and navigation in general, which spurrs Zoro to call him a know-it-all. Also after defeating Vergo, Law goes on a bit of a rant, giving a recollection of the last two years up to the present.

Te:

“Now why don’t you dispense with the whining and do as I tell you for once? We will get what we want, whatever it takes.”

“How dare he do whatever he pleases!”

“We have no time! Hurry up!”

“I don’t believe in that magic crap.”

Trafalgar Law is very matter-of-fact and talks mostly in absolute terms. When dealing with others, he gets straight to the point and has a tendency to come off as blunt with his words. Without wasting any time, he directly asks Luffy to team up with him, not trying to win him over with any kind of political maneuvering. While working with Luffy, Law frequently reprimands him for underestimating people or for losing his cool. He tells Luffy that he can’t just charge in to every fight and just beat people with force of will alone.

Law comes off rigid and somewhat reserved as most aux.Te users do. He prefers to keep to himself mostly, interacting with others only when he needs to. When the other Straw Hats throw their various parties, Law goes off by himself, choosing not to join in. When Nico Robin tries to be friendly and get some insight on him, Law simply tells her to go away and that he isn’t interested in talking with her. Going back to the example about explaining his name, the fact that he gets frustrated and yells at the other children for not listening is also a sign of Te.

Fi:

“I don’t like these lame tear jerking scenes”

When Law finds out that Corazon is lying and deceiving his brother and friends, this both angers and shocks him. Instead of viewing it with indifference, he makes a judgement based on his own moral principle. However later on, when Corazon decides not to tell anyone how Law had stabbed him, Law gains a certain level of respect for him and keeps Corazon’s secret to himself. Law’s Fi is his driving motivation for wanting revenge on Doflamingo. He wishes to avenge Corazon, his only friend, who had managed to change his outlook on life, and in a sense, save him. Later in the series, Law is frequently seen not empathizing with those in trouble or dire straights, being able to brush their problems aside as not relevant to him. This is because Fi can struggle to relate to people or situations that they are not directly attached to.

Ne:

“That breed guy who is leading those sea monsters… Is he really working for Doflamingo? I hope we’re not getting ourselves into a mess.”

Law’s Ne mostly shows in a few speculative statements he makes throughout the show. When younger, Corazon tries to make him eat the devil fruit, to see if it would cure him. Law protests, proclaiming that they had no clue if it would even cure him or not. At one point, he wonders what Reiley is up to and if there was some kind of connection for why he is drawn to another man with the will of D. When they run into Breed, Law incorrectly thinks that he is working with or for Doflamingo. In spite of it actually being a coincidence, Law’s Ne naturally wanted to find a way to tie him to Doflamingo. Law also doesn’t handle Luffy’s chaotic crew very well, frequently looking somewhat traumatized when everyone is getting out of hand. This is also a sign of inferior Ne, as the chaotic environments can seem overwhelming.
