Unfortunately, there doesn’t appear to be much information on Videl, so this article is going to be fairly weak. However, it is the most plausible that we’re seeing. We typed her off of the Buu saga.

Te:

“This is my job so stay out of my way!”

“You just be quiet and leave me alone! That’s up to me to decide, isn’t it?!”

“I’m coming, even if you say no.”

Videl seems very ambitious and driven. She essentially becomes a champion of justice as a pastime, which interrupts other responsibilities like school. She sees this as her job, and gets angry when the Great Saiyaman gets involved. Videl sets her mind to discovering the Great Saiyaman’s identity, and chases him whenever the opportunity presents itself. She demands that he tell her his true identity many times. When she finally discovers it, she basically blackmails him into participating in the upcoming tournament. Additionally, during a training scene, she’s shown destroying a punching bag (much to everyone’s shock), and then immediately ordering someone else to replace it for her. This all seems to support Te goal orientation and desire to control/order the environment.

Videl is clearly a very bold and stubborn individual. She’s not afraid to speak her mind. She’s also shown screaming at Gohan’s mother right after meeting her, which seems to support both her not being a feeler and not an introvert. (Feelers are typically more conflict averse, and would probably have needed a stronger trigger to start screaming at a friend’s mother.) Videl’s not flashy like her father, but rather jumps into a situation and resolves it. Her friends tend to refer to her as stern, or variations thereof.

Ni:

Videl appears to display Ni. She appears to be rather perceptive, having questioned some of her father’s claims to victory. She also hones in on the Great Saiyaman rather fast. Initially, she accuses one of her classmates of possibly being the Golden Warrior, due to his appearance and physical abilities. While she was obviously wrong, this shows a confidence in her intuition, suggesting that it is high in her function stack. She hones in on Gohan almost immediately after, in spite of obviously contradicting factors like the color of his hair. Of course, she switches over to suspecting him to be the Great Saiyaman once Gohan starts using that guise instead. Her confidence in her hunch that it is him results in her at one point allowing an enemy to outright attack him (rather than going to his aid).

Videl doesn’t seem to be in a state of considering multiple possibilities when she goes to take an action. Instead, she seems to go for the most direct solutions, which suggests no Ne.

Se:

Videl has a pretty strong tendency towards acting in the moment and going for the most direct actions. When trying to save the people on top of the skyscraper, she hones in on the water tank as the way to fix the issue with updraft from the fire. Instead of trying to come up with other possible solutions when it seems uncertain how successful the water tank will be, she instead decides to risk it rather than trying to think of other solutions. Ultimately, she is unable to succeed with the water tower and Gohan has to save her.

She does something similar when saving the elderly people on the bus. She gets wrapped up in her fight with the thugs, accidentally knocking out the one that was driving. Again, Gohan has to save them as the bus plummeted off a cliff. When fighting in the tournament, she uses deadly force against Spopovich as she keeps gradually increasing the force of her blows because nothing seems to be working. She doesn’t work out alternative ways to win (getting a ring out for instance) like a Ne user might have; she simply doubles down on her Se strategy of force.

Fi:

“I don’t care who or what he is! I’m Videl! I’m the daughter of Mister Satan, who defeated Cell! I am going to beat him for sure!”

Videl seems to be somewhat insecure when it comes to things that are personal. She seems generally uncomfortable with her feelings and gets embarrassed easily when they are allowed to surface. An example of this is when Gohan suggests that she cut her hair and she replies with, “Oh, you prefer girls with short hair?” She immediately gets embarrassed and defensive when Gohan clarifies that it is for practical reasons. This shows that she is both embarrassed and humiliated that he doesn’t reciprocate her subtle show of interest, leaving Gohan thoroughly confused. In a more positive way, she does proudly claim her name and heritage, as a show of Fi identity. In addition, her pastime working for the police can be seen as an outlet for her Fi values.
