Te:

โ€œIโ€™ll tell him to stop sleeping until he learns how to play it.โ€

โ€œIโ€™ll make you an amazing man.โ€

Of all the characters in White Album 2, Kazusa is by far the most demanding and violent. Anytime she is interacting with others, she is giving them some kind of command. She doesnโ€™t stand on any kind of social conformity, and for the most part, does whatever she feels like. This gets her into a good bit of trouble and is the reason why she gets kicked out of the music program. She is not very personable; and she tries to drive off anyone who attempts to interact with her. Haruki is the only one that is able to interact with her with any kind of success toward the beginning of the show. She is extremely blunt and doesnโ€™t hold back her opinions or insults, whether it be other students, teachers, etc. An example of this is when the teacher takes her notebook and tells her that she can retrieve it from the principal at the end of the day. Kazusa flips out and demands it back. When she sees that he is not complying, Kazusa rushes him and snatches it back.

When Haruki does finally convince her to be part of the light music group, Kazusa immediately takes over bossing all of the other members around. She dictates that Haruki will be the one up on stage playing guitar, and that the main guitarist will be relegated to making the backtracks instead. In her eyes, this is the most logical way to get everything prepared for the performance. Once thatโ€™s settled, she puts Haruki on strenuous training regime to get the songs down before time is up. This leads to long nights of practice on top of the regular school work load. Kazusa is already used to doing this as she is very dedicated and often alludes to the requirements of practicing 10 hours a day in order to be a competent musician. Kazusa also doesnโ€™t like being told what to do and yells at Haruki anytime he tries to lecture her, quickly turning it back on him and pointing out some flaws of his own.

Ni:

โ€œThose ideals of yours have crossed the line into dreams.โ€

Kazusaโ€™s Ni manifests in the way that she sees how Harukiโ€™s plans will end in failure, and in the way she connects meaning to certain events like snowfall. She is quick to see the flaws in Harukiโ€™s attempt to throw together a music group before the competition, pointing out the lack of other members and the shortage of time to prepare. Later in the snow, she talks about how every time she sees the snow she will think about all the different moments she had with Haruki, making it a symbol of the relationship that they had. She also abstracts the feelings she has for Haruki into the song that she writes for the festival. The lyrics clearly mirror the position that she feels herself to be in. Her use of Ni is also shown when she, exasperated with Haruki, proclaims that she doesnโ€™t understand how he could miss the fact that she liked him, in spite of the fact that she had been clearly denying any such feelings with her words. She had wanted Haruki to read between the lines and see what she felt was obvious, which is more indicative of an Ni user than an Si user.

Se:

โ€œAny comments on my looks and Iโ€™ll kick you.โ€

Kazusaโ€™s tertiary Se in combination with her dominant Te makes her prone to impulsive and physical violence when trying to get her way. Throughout the show, we see that Kazusa is not shy about getting physical. She readily kicks, trips, and punches others when she feels so compelled. One such example is when seeing that she was about to get crashed into, she trips another person to block that from happening. She also physically kicks Haruki out of the music room when he is trying to convince her to join the music group. Later on in the show, she exits a train and yanks Haruki off by the tie right as the doors are about to close to force him to come with her. These are just a few of the examples, demonstrating Kazusaโ€™s over-eagerness to be physically violent, which suggests Se in a position higher than inferior. Kazusa also doesnโ€™t appear to be very cautious, seeming unbothered by the semi-dangerous drive to the hot springs through the the snow. She later comments to Haruki that she had improved a lot in only one day.

Fi:

โ€œI tell myself I donโ€™t matter.โ€

โ€œI donโ€™t like people who betray others, so I hate you.โ€

Kazusaโ€™s inferior Fi is evident by the fact that she spends the entire show trying to supress or ignore her emotions. She doesnโ€™t feel like she can let anyone get close to her, and she doesnโ€™t know how to handle or process her own emotions. In spite of acting cold to pretty much everyone, she does have a soft spot for Setsuna. Sesuna is the only person that Kazusa yields making a decision to, but she still struggles letting herself get close to Setsuna initially. Kazusa refuses to use her first name for awhile because that would symbolize that they had a closer friendship. When she first meets Setsuna, Kazusa comments to Haruki that she โ€œdoesnโ€™t know how to deal with people like thatโ€ in reference to Setsuna and her emotions. Due to her discomfort with emotions, Kazusa struggles to show them properly and frequently wears a sort of poker face in public, only really displaying anger and annoyance when someone tries to interact with her.
