Ne:

“You’re normally like the most laidback girl ever” – Mina to her

“Even if you’ve lost, you always keep looking ahead to what’s next, Deku. This just means that I have to work harder now.”

“The stronger I am the more possibilities I’ll have. Plus, learning from a battle hero will give me a different perspective, right?”

Uraraka is a peppy, bubbly character who is always full of energy. She’s definitely a extraverted perceiving dominant, considering her very non-judgmental, laid back, and accepting nature. She is also very positive and optimistic, seeking the best possible outlook on every situation. She’s not typically a worrier. She looks to the future and doesn’t let herself dwell on the negatives of the present. When choosing an internship, she specifically chooses one that will give her possibilities, essentially opening up more options for herself, rather than honing in on her ultimate goal, which is to be a rescue hero. Uraraka also finds humor in many situations. She’s been shown laughing at random things, finding amusement in arguments between her fellow students, and narrating an imaginary conversation between two people that she’s watching from a distance. She’s generally very talkative, and at times, air-headed. She’s also relatively distractible even during important situations like the licensing exam, especially when it comes to Midoriya.

Fi:

“You two have such admirable motivations. I hope you don’t think less of me now.”

“It’s better to team up with people you like!”

“Yeah, but it’s kinda fun listening to them fight.”

Uraraka is very warm and empathetic, yet keeps her own emotions concealed from others. For instance, she hides how upset she is over her failure to defeat Bakugo in the U.A. Sports Festival from Midoriya, even when he directly asks. She puts on a brave face and pretends like she is perfectly fine, but cries over the phone with her father later. As a general rule, Uraraka usually doesn’t talk about herself and keeps her private life private. She also is hesitant to explain her dream to Midoriya and Iida, and simply claims that she wants money at first. Of course, as an Fi, she feels embarrassed that her goal isn’t as noble as Midoriya’s. After prying further though, they learn that her true goal is to make her family’s life easier. As a high Fi user, she is prone idealizing certain people and holding them in very high esteem, like Midoriya. She spends a large portion of the show asking herself what he would do in various situations. Uraraka is also very supportive and loyal, and is shown trying to give her entrance exam points to Midoriya because he saved her during the exam. I considered her being an Fe user at one point, but she is never shown being bothered by conflict… On the contrary, she actually finds it amusing at times which would be out of character for the typical high Fe user.

Te:

“Everyone! I’m gonna do my best!”

“Then let’s go! We’ll get the points back, Deku! I know it!”

Uraraka is shown getting incredibly intense during certain situations, like the U.A. Sports Festival. Te gives her the determination she needs to accomplish whatever is in front of her, and ability to look at things objectively. After the U.A. Sports Festival, Uraraka recognizes her need to learn how to fight, so she specifically takes an internship that would help her improve in that area. She also recognizes her over-reliance on Midoriya, and begins relying on herself more. In addition, she begins realizing her feelings for Midoriya and puts them down, knowing that she needs to focus on her goal. However, as a lower Te user, she doesn’t plan things out too deeply, and chides herself at one point for not having a backup plan for her big move against Bakugo in the U.A. Sports Festival.

Si:

Uraraka’s inferior Si comes out in a couple of different ways. She pays little attention to details. While she is usually very talkative, when the reporters ask her what All Might is like, Uraraka is unable to explain anything about him other than calling him “really muscly.” Uraraka translates her dream into a tangible thing: money. In fact, while her dream is actually very Fi (driven out of loyalty for her family), it’s easy to see the Si incorporated into it, which is her desire to give them physical security.
